Lions Gate Chorus

Lions Gate Chorus performed at the torch lighting ceremony for the Olympics. They're one of my favorite choruses, so I just had to share the YouTube video of them. I've written about them before here and here.

By the way, make sure to check out the horses at the end of the video. They're totally unrelated to the chorus (aside from the fact that they were also at the ceremony) but they're so cute!

I really enjoyed this video! The Lions Gate Chorus is great -- very dynamic performers! Thanks for introducing me to them! They must take their name from the Lions Gate Bridge in Vancouver. And love the horsies, too!

Hmm, I guess that's where they got their name from, though I hadn't heard about the Lions Gate Bridge. But, they are in the right location to take their name from the bridge!

I really do love the chorus.

Just a little trivia info about their director -- she fell in love with a guy from the USA, so she married and moved to my country. BUT, she wouldn't give up directing Lions Gate Chorus, so she commutes back up to Canada for rehearsals and performances. :)
